Recently, I've been getting a lot of requests...I mean requests to write about certain topics in my blog posts. Now, I suppose I could have done what people do to me when I dare to ask them something...namely move to Indiana and change my phone number. But that's mean. Besides people requesting blog posts save me the trouble of having to come up with my own damn ideas! Anywho, on with our story...
In the comments section of of my April 16, 2012 post Nellie Vaughn of Buttons are not Currency and co-host of the Little Room Discussions podcast wrote, "If you're taking requests, would you kindly find some info. on Baba the Indian barber? Healer? Prostitute? I am not sure what he does, other than give great head massages. While you're at it, find out if Shinji from Neon Genesis Evangelion is single." Well, I don't know if Miss Vaughn recalls this, but I already took a topic request from her when I wrote the post Why is Ron Burgundy funny? ... Which is what caused long time friend, as well as regular reader and commenter Rachel Halvorson, to have the nerve to request I write this post--->"Boo The World's Cutest Dog": a Blog about the Death Rumors Surrounding "Boo The World's Cutest Dog" . And so here we are. Actually, I am just kidding about being perturbed about writing request posts. Like I said, people making requests saves me the trouble of having to think of my own ideas to write! And besides, the asking for ideas to write about was invented by Mark of The Rambling Person, and certainly not me, anyway. Yes, it's true. Mark is the first person in the history of the internets to ever ask the readers for ideas to write about. Though, I admit I didn't do a lot of research to try to prove that he is. In fact, I didn't do any research regarding that at all. In truth, I don't really know where I am going with this so I will just post another link to Mark's website The Rambling Person and get on with answering Nellie Vaughn's questions...
"If you're taking requests, would you kindly find some info. on Baba the Indian barber?"
When I kept seeing Nellie Vaughn making references to "Baba" I obviously assumed she was talking about Baba Streisand, which in turn inspired me to look up this youtube video Neil Diamond & Barbara Streisand, You Don't Bring Me Flowers - YouTube and watch it, while I was eating my Taco Bell meal for dinner. And that video in turn inspired someone to make this youtube video Neil Diamond & Barbara Streisand "You Don't Bring Me Flowers" Parody - YouTube which in turn inspired me to make that video, April 18's Funguzz Vizzion VIDEO OF THE NOW. All of this because of Nellie Vaughn's question...
Now onto Nellie Vaughn's next question...
...While you're at it, find out if Shinji from Neon Genesis Evangelion is single."
Well, while I'm at it, I have no idea if this guy is single or not. I could give you the response my mother gave me when I was little and asked her a question she did not know the answer to, and say, "I DON'T KNOW! WHY DON'T YOU GO WRITE 'EM A LETTER AND ASK 'EM!" But I am much more compassionate than that...
Instead I will just completely make up an answer to your question, and protect myself legally, by saying it is "writer's embellishment."
writer's embellishment: Shinji from Neon Genesis Evangelion changed his name to Patrick Hernandez, became a huge pop star during the disco craze of the 70's, and started dating his back-up singer Madonna.

Oh, dammit. I had no idea it was going to take so long to answer Nellie Vaughn's questions, and I never got around to writing about what I was planning on writing about!... Oh crap!
PLEASE tune in next time for What does Giorgio Tsoukalos have to do with teenage mutant ninja turtles? (and other mysteries of the universe unraveled) PART TWO...
and I will actually talk about that topic then!Once again, God bless you, and thank you for your support.
