Well, hello again, you crazy kids. This entry is pretty much dedicated to Taylor Swift in all her magnificence. But before, we get to that, let me tell you what's been going on at my youtube channel...
My roving entertainment reporter, and the official poet laureate of JimmyFungus.com, the very honorable and highly esteemed Lord Throckmorton Fungusleaves III, has been producing quite a few videos of late for my official channel http://youtube.com/jimmyfungus. And what he has been working on, are some channel reviews of some of the biggest names at youtube. In Throckmorton's most recent review, the Lord of Fungus takes on one of the very biggest stars of youtube, Shane Dawson.

Welpers, ...I guess what I will have to do is first post the particular Shane Dawson video that Lord Throckmorton Fungusleaves will be reviewing and responding to, so you at least have a clue what the hell he is talking about.
And then, I will obviously post Lord Throckmorton Fungusleaves's exciting review of Shane Dawson's video, which hopefully you will watch (and I highly recommend that you do).

Shane's video coincidentally is entitled "IS TAYLOR SWIFT HIGH!?" The vid doesn't really have much to do with Taylor Swift OR getting high, but Shane Dawson calls it "IS TAYLOR SWIFT HIGH!?" because... well, I'll let Lord Throckmorton explain all that in his response.
O.k., I will post the Shane Dawson vid,, but to be 100% Oprah honest, I really don't care if you guys watch it too intently, because I need you to save your energies for Lord Throckmorton's response video. Nevertheless, here it is..so just skim through it all half-assed or whatever...

Not to give too much away, but Lord Throckmorton Fungusleaves isn't too impressed with the Shane Dawson "IS TAYLOR SWIFT HIGH!?" video. I don't know. Maybe Lord Throckmorton is just grumpy from all the shrapnel still left over in his posterior from his service during World War I, but he seemed pretty cranky, at least towards the end of his critique. Oh well. Please check it out anyway, and give us some feedback:

You know what I'm talking about. Out there on the vast highway of tubes known as "the internets", there are a lot of people who think they are comedians... or at least "meme makers." They try their hand at the art of creating a meme, but no one gets the joke but them.

Ok. The Bad Luck Brian meme is usually a pretty funny meme, no matter what you do with it. This particular one is a bit perplexing. It would make more sense if Bad Luck Brian was Japanese. Even if Bad Luck Brian was Asian I suppose we could cut the author of this meme's caption some slack. But Bad Luck Brian is what... 14 or 15 years old in this picture?? WHAT WOULD HE BE DOING IN JAPAN DURING WORLD WAR II ANYWAY???????
Crazy Scumbag Steve: "ALIENS STOLE YOUR IPOD"
This next meme that doesn't make any sense (at least to me) is the "Crazy Scumbag Steve" meme. It morphs the "Scumbag Steve" meme (who is basically a guy who is a huge "douchebag", for lack of a better word) with the ancient aliens expert Giorgio Tsoukalos meme. And to whoever created this meme I have but one question... WHY IN GOD'S HOLY NAME WOULD YOU DO SUCH A THING!!!???

Our next meme, is more in the category of being annoying. It features "skeptical third world kid" constantly zinging the woman he is pictured with, with all kinds of sarcastic one liners. The implication is, that the woman is really not interested in helping him, she is just there for a photo op, and is a hypocrite, or naive, or both. Yes, I wouldn't be surprised if this meme was created as part of a very cynical public relations campaign by the notorious Ugandan warlord Jospeh Kony himself!
And there is another problem with this meme come to think of it...

So, it came to pass that this little girl became the poster child for the 2012 Election Campaign. (SEE: Tired of Bronco Bamma and Mitt Romney) Luckily for her AND us, our long national nightmare is finally over, and there has been yet another peaceful transition of power. Well, NO, actually that is wrong. We are in exactly the same place we were before the major political parties spent a gorillion billion dollars (money that could have been spent on ohh say cancer research, education, 30 trillion pizzas and 900 billion gallons of Dr. Pepper...anything would be better than THIS) on "getting their message out." The House is Republican, and "the Prez" and Senate...Democrats. Exactly where we started from.

Anywho, our very own JimmyFungus.com endorsed Independent presidential candidate Abraham Fungus Jr. broached a very good idea to me today. Why not introduce a constitutional amendment outlawing the use of ANY money in politics? "The Constitution should provide that each candidate be dropped on a deserted island with nothing but a laptop computer, and a pencil bag full of magic markers to get their message out to the voters. Let them all duke it out in this fashion, and the best man, woman, or transgender person will certainly emerge victorious!" Abraham told me in a private conversation (well, it's not private anymore). Though honesty compels me to report that Abraham Fungus Jr. would probably not excel in such a brutal competition. He even forgot to register to vote, and could not even vote for himself. But as Lord Throckmorton Fungusleaves would say, "That is neither here nor there."
So, it seems that the winner of last night's election is not Bronco Obamma, or even the American people for that matter. The true winner is ME, because I get bragging rights on predicting exactly what was going to happen almost a full 2 months ago. Yup, an endless parade of over-paid pundits (Karl Rove, Dick Morris, George F. Will) all wear the dunce cap today, but not the honorable James Earl Fungus I.

Hello again, true believers. In our last exciting post, we discussed political propaganda and the toll it takes on our democracy (or what's left of it). But are we as a people, finally getting hip to what is going on here? Have you ever surfed the internet and seen the slew of "So-and-So DESTROYS So-and-So" political videos. Video titles like "Senator Such-and-Such CRUSHES Ron Paul", "So-and-So eviscerates Robert Gibbs", "Glenn Beck annihilates (fill in the blank)", or vice versa. For example, one side will post a video "Moe DESTROYS Curly"...then the other side of the aisle will post THE EXACT SAME VIDEO and the title will be "Curly DESTROYS Moe." I mean honestly, do they think we're that stupid? We are gonna just sit there and say, "Oh ok. Senator Larry Fine destroyed Congressman Moe Howard in a debate. That takes care of that!"
So, I figured WHAT THE HECK... I could get in on this little trend and post my bogus headlines as well. So here it goes...
