Hello again, true believers.  It's time for another thrilling episode of Funguspiece Theater.  And luckily, I'm just in the nick of time to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Tommy Wiseau's independent film "The Room"  (which if you haven't heard, has become kind of a cult classic).

Yeah, well...  that is sure as hell not the only thing that has been going on this week on the intertubes...  and I surely want to hear what Gorilla Bananas of http://thejapingape.blogspot.com thinks about THIS.

It seems that some skewl childrens on some sort of a field trip, were taunting some poor gorilla at the Dallas zoo.

The beast got his jimmies a bit rustled and  threw a scare into these miserable rug rats.  So, I made this gif about the incident (kind of), and made a spoof video regarding it as well, which is entitled "Gorilla gets his jimmies rustled by a$$hole kids at zoo." 



But I suppose, most of you would probably like to see some footage of the actual happening, so feast your eyes on it below, if you like.  (But don't use up all your energies watching that, because we are just getting started here....)

Anywho, gorillas aren't the only animals with feelings.  Llamas also come with their fair share of drama attached.  Which leads to the next exciting video at my very own youtube channel, and the title of this video is "When Llamas Attack!", and can be watched beneath this paragraph...

My next video  (I'm sure many of you will think of it...  as kind of a fail) was inspired by another video entitled "Kim Beom screams at yellow paint", which was not a failure, but instead very exciting.  (Anyway, the Kim Beom vid has since been yoinked off the internets, so sadly you may never see it now.)

Oh yeah.  Now I remember more about  how I came up with the idea for MY new screaming vid.....

Ya see, I was having a brief conversation on twitter with of all people... Deepak Chopra.  (Not on my main twitter account, but on twitter.com/fungusinstitute  which is usually run by my goat mascott, but not on this day.)

I hate when that happens.  Welp, anyway... many of Miley Cyrus' long time fans reacted the same way this guy from the Italian Spiderman movie did, when they caught a glimpse of her new video.  (SEE:  Miley Cyrus "We Can't Stop" )

Ahhh...to paraphrase Ned Flanders "dang diddily do dang do damn diddily darn it" I am just going to post the Miley Cyrus video for those of you who haven't seen it yet.

Yeah.  Well.  This Miley vid is described as "interesting" by some, and in terms that are less complimentary by others.  


I would characterize the reviews so far as "mixed."

However, a certain man (Lord Throckmorton Fungusleaves, the roving entertainment reporter and official poet laureate of JimmyFungus.com) was happy to moralize regarding the message of "We Can't Stop", and the ramifications of the type of behavior it is promoting. Welpers, just watch Lord Throckmorton's video down below (or attempt to anyway). The title of this video is "We Want the Old Miley Cyrus Back!"

O.k. whatever.  I am just going to jump into our next topic now, which is the issue of these dueling "Bohemian Rhapsodies"...

You see, for some inexplicable reason I can't begin to articulate, I was inspired to create a "The Big Lebowski" version of this classic Queen song.  The results are available for your viewing pleasure down below...

O.K.  Let's try to dig into all of this.  These crazy Disney kids seem intent on dirtying up their previously quasi-"squeaky clean" images.  IMHO Selena Gomez is doing it in a better way, with some dramatic roles in major motion pictures that deal with some mature content.

Ya gots to love Miley though.  Unlike Justin Bieber, who is deeply concerned with what the Beliebers think of him, she seems to be throwing caution to the wind.  Every time the Biebs is caught "screwing up" his reaction seems to be,  "Uh ohz.  I made the Beliebers mad.  I better try to smooth this over a bit."  (That is NOT  a direct quote by the way.)  Miley on the other hand seems to take the polar opposite approach.

Welpers, dear ones, I am beginning to be a bit concerned about what effect this cynical attitude is having on our society.  Case in point this "sloth meme" phenomenon that is sweeping the internets like a great ball of fire...

What exactly could be cuter or more adorable than a sloth?  The endearing sloth... nothing but purity and sincerity as far as the eye can see.
